Dear Parent, AP® Exams start next week, and we want to make sure your child is prepared to take their exam(s) online. View the full list of exam dates and times. Please help your child learn when exams will start in your time zone. Your child should plan to set aside 80 minutes for each exam. They'll need 30 minutes to sign in and enter some personal information before the exam starts. And the exam itself will take 50 minutes, which includes time to submit their responses. There are some differences in the exam format across AP courses. Please make sure your child reviews course-specific information for their exams. Your child will need their AP ID to access the exams. This will be provided on their e-ticket so they can have it handy on test day. To get your child ready for test day, be sure they complete an AP Exam Day Checklist (.pdf/513.39 KB) for each exam they'll be taking and use the demo to see the exam experience.
5 Steps for Your Child to Get Ready | Now: Try the exam demo. Now: Complete exam day checklist. Now: Verify their email. 2 Days Before Exam: Locate their e-ticket. Exam Day: Check in 30 minutes early.
| What's Next? | Two days before each of your child's AP Exams they'll receive an email with their unique exam e-ticket that includes their AP ID. This e-ticket should not be shared with others. The link included is how they'll take their exam during the exam testing window. They should join their exam 30 minutes before exam time. Please make sure they check their email 48 hours before each of their exams. | | | Test Security | During the exam, your child may not collaborate with any person in any way, and their work must be their own. There are strict protocols in place to prevent and detect cheating, including the use of plagiarism detection tools. Students who give or receive aid will face consequences, including score cancellations, bans from future AP and SAT® exams, and notifications to college admissions offices. | | | | | | | |
